Skylark and Swift focus on science
Children have been exploring forces in science.
Children in Skylark and Swift have been exploring forces and identified forces as a non-contact force (such as magnetism) and contact force (such as pushing and blowing).
They had a carousel of different activities to test the forces for themselves. It took a bit of getting their heads round blowing bubbles, the fan and blow football, as contact forces, as they weren’t actually touching the bubbles. However, the air was touching the ball/bubbles so it was in contact!
