Curriculum aims
- A progressive, ambitious curriculum which explicitly teaches the ‘sticky knowledge’ which we want children to be confident with by the end of the unit of work.
- Reflects the statutory expectations from the National Curriculum.
- Ensures opportunities for spaced retrieval are integrated to ensure that new learning is transferred into the children’s long term memory.
- Expectations are demonstrated for ARE to ensure consistency across year group within the Trust.
